Google Maps covers Europe to the street level at long last! They’re not showing up via the API, so no autobahns on flyr, yet, but still a lot better than the Yahoo! Beta Maps which appears to know diddley-squat about Berkhamsted.

Only tonight I planned my holiday to Italy using maps.google.it - very nice, although it couldn’t find all the nooks and crannies (what silly places people have hostels) across the country but generally very cool.
