Another W3C WSD WG face-to-face meeting and another revolving restaurant, this time up the CN Tower courtesy of Arthur and the groovy IBM Canada Toronto Software lab.
Billed as "Canada's wonder of the world", at 553m tall it's the world's tallest freestanding stucture. OK, it's tall:
The walk of faith was exciting, the trick being not to look down before walking onto the glass floor:
as were the views, here the Blue Jays look like blue ants:
and apparently on a clear day you can see the plume from Niagara:
All very cool and the meal was very nice, though i did have a problem locating "that old building" pointed out by Arthur, it all looked like it was only built the other week :-)
