My name is Paul Sumner Downey. The Sumner bit is my middle name and not so much an affectation but something I sometimes use to distinguish myself from other Paul Downeys I keep bumping in to. I hail from Saltburn-by-the-Sea but now reside in Berkhamsted with my wife Lucy, and three children.
An inveterate hacker, I passionately believe in the commons, love the Web and advocate Open Source given any opportunity which is highly compatible with my current role working with Osmosoft, a BT team tasked with promoting innovation around Open Source and the Web.
