As a part of Tintin’s 75th anniversary, Anchor Bay have released a boxed set of all 21 of the animated episodes which play.com are selling for only £22.99! This represents excellent value at ~£1 an episode, though it’s worth pointing out they’re the American voiced versions and not the famous 60’s cod-French accent 5 minute shorts “Herge’s Adventures of Tin-Tin” …

I am wondering if there is any way or anywhere to get the box set of TinTin in REGION 1 dvds? I am in Canada, and would love to get my hands on the set. If someone could let me know either way, that would be great. Thanks, have a good day!
I also would really like to have tintin in region 1 very badly. I am here in the US. If someone could e-mail me that would be great.
Region 1 NEEEEDDDS The Adventures of TinTin!!!
i MISTAKENLY BOUGHT 3 dvds of tin tin at FNAC to use in my French language class in California.
Does anyone know how to convert to region 1 playability?
1) The Region 1 Tintin DVDs are available from Amazon.ca, Artchambault.ca, and can also be found on eBay for the complete set from Hong Kong or China. Personally, I suggest ordering them from Canada.
2) You can buy a region free DVD player very inexpensively. The Philips 642 is an excellent unit and even if it is not set for region free when you buy it can be tweaked to do region free. There are other region free DVD players out there as well. Do a search on amazon.com for “region free DVD players”.
I strongly suggest that you buy one of these if you teach french or watch andy foreign films.
