Whatfettle ⁓ Upcoming Microformats

Brian put me onto a neat dopplr trick, if you "search" for a page with hCalendar data, such as the W3C ACTP it'll add a link back to the upcoming page via an icon, cool!

Similarly, if you tag a flickr photo with a machine tag of the form upcoming:event=nnnn, you get a nice upcoming icon link on the bottom of the page.

    I got the Flickr thing. Nifty. But I'm afraid I don't grok the dopplr tip. Can you provide a little more detail?

    Ah, paste the upcoming event URI, e.g. "http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/144460" into the Dopplr "Type the name of a place or traveller" search box and it adds a trip to that event. Unfortunately in this case it thinks Cambridge UK rather than Cambridge MA but they now know about that bug :-)
