OK, so it's Saturday morning, afternoon actually, and here's the start of an experiment guaranteed not to last: Video Blogging! So the kids are downstairs trying to do their homework, being berated [encouraged!] by Lucy and I'm upstairs locked in the attic doing my accounts and expenses. [Sigh!] Sometimes I think my personal hell will look like the film Brazil with me amongst the rows of people all doing expenses and accounts for eternity. Well let's see how long this [experiment] continues, and hopefully the next one will be more cheerful! Ok, goodbye!
I started this off in Facebook, but their video application messed the audio sync up, and of course the walled garden reduced my audience. If you like this, after seeking help you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed using a player such as Miro.

Oh keep 'em coming. Despite the knowledge that this wasn't intended to induce helpless laughing fits - I just can't seem to help myself.
I can't say I understand your version of hell :p, but look at it this way - it could be have been worse.
I'd been expecting something on your blog for a while, but not video :-)
Deep down, do you worry about linking to the content?
Are you going to transcribe all future offerings?
Maybe there'll be more of the "Charlie Chaplin" type where we can see PSD:
* fold his Brompton bike
or
* sleeping in front of the TV
Pete
PS In case you're wondering, if you're not sure whether you really talk like that, it sounds like you!
O2: watch Brazil, now!
PMH: yeah, transcription is essential, methinks, maybe some more fun stuff to mix up the depressive rants are on the way. Not sure I understand the linking to content concern. It's all on the Web, right? I started on Facebook, moved to Youtube but am considering hosting the MP4 videos myself/on S3 so you can subscribe in iTunes/AppleTV/iPod.
I had in mind "hypertext being the engine of application state".
True it's an addressable resource but a bit of a Web dead end. I suppose I worry that it'll be like coming across a link to a Flash site or a Word, PowerPoint or PDF document. They're often plonked on the Web as blobs.
Without transcription, it's hard to quote or link into the content.
Worse, maybe, is the difficulty of linking back to the Web from a video.
There's always been a lot of value in your blog relating your opinion to other resources, eg somnambulism.
Is this why you've provided the transcription with links?
